Monica Vera is Filipino-Canadian, respected real estate agent and proud mother of two millennial children. While she spends many of her days helping families find their homes, exploring towns and cities for new developments , she is also dedicated to building and serving her own communities. She is a Co-Founder of Fundamental Learning Academy for girls called FLAG based in the Philippines , volunteer radio host for 'Wine and Cheesemis which airs live every Sunday on 101.3 FM Canadian Multicultural Radio and volunteer writer for Pinoy News, a local Filipino newspaper.
Born in a town called Tondo, Manila she came to Canada through adoption at age 14. Now she lives and enjoys the downtown life together with her husband of 26 years. Monica's purposed driven life journey to become a strong Filipino woman has been one of struggle, beauty and growing pains which can be seen in every move she makes.
She strongly believes this world will change for the better by empowering women of different beliefs, social statuses and backgrounds; and encouraging them to uplift and elevate one another. Most of all to live a life through faith.
